What makes me different?
- I am not just a designer, nor am I just a developer. I have a marketing & branding background, I’m an avid photographer, I’ve created my fair share of flash movies and I have been a small business owner. I’ll put the right solution into action with a strategy that will make your brand stronger, and attract more business.
- Experience in implementation. My strongest skill is being able to put together various pieces of a brand into a unified whole. Whether installing Flash ad-ons, Wordpress plugins, or some fancy Javascripts, I have worked on enough projects to know how to get the job done.
- Substance over style. I’m not interested in providing marketing solutions that are going to win design awards for me. I’m interested in providing solutions that will gain you more business - and more importantly, STRENGTHEN the business ties you already have.
I am a self taught creative. I’ve taught myself everything from photography to print design, web design and flash to CMS development. I have been successful because I find what a project needs to be a success, and implement that solution.
I managed the online and direct mail marketing for Choose-Your-Gift for 3 years, helped design, plan and develop their online services. I also was a small business owner in the fashion industry - that makes me a lot different than other designers. I have written paychecks, I have had to create my own leads - I know how valuable your resources are. All these experiences have taught me that small businesses need to be quick and frugal if they want to compete in today’s marketplace. Where some creative and branding firms strive to “transform the way you look at design” or other lofty aspirations - I simply focus on putting in place the solution that will grow your business.
